Has anyone else had issues with the Retron 5 displaying scanlines? When I turn them on, the scanlines only fill 75% of the screen, from the upper left-hand corner to around the middle of the screen. I've been in touch with tech support, and have already tried swapping the HDMI cable and doing a factory reset/reinstalling firmware and software, but the problem persists. I haven't seen any other complaints about it though, so I wonder if there's a problem with my TV, which is a 40-inch TCL.

I had it for a brief period. Like really brief. Can't remember how I fixed it.

But I wanted you to know you're not crazy and it is fixable.

I didn't reload my firmware or do a factory reset.

I just played with the scaling and filter settings I think until it went away.
