Is anyone able to convert the patch at the following link to one that is suitable for the Retron 5? I've tried doing so myself and failed miserably.

Pretty cool hack. Played a heroes one a long time ago which was fun but I guess this combines that and combines 1 and 2. Nice.
I fixed patches for it here:

Also for future reference if you want to make it easier for yourself just download the full romhack off of Sonicretro.org instead and patch off that and the cartridge/rom you have. They host full roms, not patches so It'll complicate things less and save you a step.
