Final Fantasy II (SNES) U Retranslation patch does not work

I have a US FF2 (FFIV ) Cart

I tried to apply this patch to it via the retron but it DOES not work

Too bad cuz it's such an awesome re translation.

I tried this one as well

and it's the same problem.

I browsed a bit but could not find any fixes on the forum.

Anyone else figure out how to do this?

It's made to patch specifically onto version 1.1 of FF2 (US) with a header, cartridges don't get dumped on the Retron 5/Retro Freak with one which explains why it doesn't work as-is (you may have v1.0 as well and not v1.1). I can however use what you listed as a basis to make it work. Give me a few days and i'll see what I can do.

Done. It's under Project II Final Fantasy IV. I don't know if you have v1.0 or v1.1 of FF2 and you likely won't know either so try v1.0 and if it doesn't work try v1.1. I fixed the patch for both.
