In my case fewer games work after the upgrade.
In fact Master System games in general didn´t work anymore.
I downgraded back to v2.3 beta 2 and it works fine again.

You're correct. I just confirmed it myself.
For me Master System games are detected and dump just fine. But when playing them the error "cartridge has been removed" just comes up repeatedly.
I've reported it to Hyperkin and they are looking into it.
Were you using a real power base or the Stone Age Gamer power base mini?
I am using the mini.

Yep, it´s the same "Cartridge was removed" error.
