GBA roms more than 32mb?

Post by JBDUDE » October 30th, 2015, 9:07 pm

Hi everyone! :D

I was just wondering if any of you guys/girls manage to find a way to make a 32mb gameboy advance rom to work on this console? I have at least hundreds of roms (patches) on each systems but the 32mb gba roms are condemned to fail every time loading... :(

I tried : "SamIPS2.exe", "Beat.exe" and a last one called "bin2retron"(i think) and none of them works

I did my research before open this forum, but i haven't found anything.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks!

It's a limitation on the Retron. It can't be fixed unfortunately unless hyperkin does something about that and I think it's pretty unlikely that they will in my opinion. Also some extremely large patches will load you just need to wait about up to 5 minutes and not press anything at all the second you try to load it (let it sit on the black screen long enough).

Thanks for the reply!

But i'm still a bit curious knowing what game worked after 5 minutes loading...
Another thing, are you using the lastest firmware(V2.3 BETA 2)?
