NOTE: This release requires RetroN 5 System Software v0.2.2 to be installed. Please ensure you have updated to this as per the directions in the update instructions

Changes since v2.1 include:
Internal changes in preparation for upcoming hardware revision

---------------------------
This one wasn't announced anywhere, I just randomly found it by checking the retron website.
Doesn't appear to be any changes from the last version, but the description says it's getting ready for a hardware revision.... interesting......
Hopefully something new is coming soon.

Was it just me, or was it harder to find the firmware updates on the Retron5.com website? I had to do some investigating in the FAQS section to find www.retron5.in/node/6

Oh it's a giant pain in the ass, especially finding old versions. And considering the updates are locked to the devices (for the time being) I personally ended up downloading all of them locally incase they disappeared like the first two updates did. You never know when you're going to need to revert to a specific version due to bugs. :p

So, what would happen if I updated the consoles application prior to the system update? Can I still update the system or do I have to somehow roll back and start again? I'm sort of afraid to update the system now at this point.
