Hmm - I'd tried downgrading to 2.0 beta 6 and now it doesn't read the cart at all - just gets stuck on Loading...

Grumble grumble

I haven't found a way to make it play properly. It would seem there are some real issues with the Genesis emulation on the Retron 5.

I'm beginning to lose hope that a new firmware will ever be released either...

Has anybody tried this game with the new update? On my end it still has the same bugs :(

Yes, I gave it a quick go on Saturday and I was able to get past the section of the stage, using a restore from the older firmware I used to replicate the issue in the first place. So although it wasn't a very thorough test, it seems to be fixed for me.

Is yours still crashing just after the start of stage 2-5?

I played through the entire game without issue but I was using firmware 1.6 at the time... I finally recently updated to 2.2 so I hope it stills plays ok the next time I want to play it...
