Help

Post by Kolma » November 7th, 2014, 6:34 pm

Anyone know if it's at all possible to get this working on the Retron 5?

Maybe if there was a way to inject all the files into an actual rom and then run that as a "patch" ?
Seems like a great use of the Retron 5 is this was indeed possible.

It's not possible unfortunately. The emulator that the Retron 5 uses (Snes9xGX or some variation) does not support MSU-1. That pleasure belongs to Higan/BSNES and the SD2SNES flashcart alone. So even if you could pack it all as a simple IPS patch (which is another issue altogether) and apply it..it would still not work. Hyperkin would need to add MSU-1 support to the emulator themselves.
