NES30/SNES30 Wireless Controllers - Compatible with RetroN5!
I can't actually find out where I stumbled upon this again, but NES30/SNES30 wireless bluetooth controllers by 8Bitdo now feature a mode that allows them to work with RetroN5. It requires you to update your controller with a new firmware (which is currently in beta-testing.) Here are the links to do...

Re: Megadrive games compatible without any alterations?
According to the official Retron5 webpage, Mega Drive is listed as one of the 10 systems supported by the Retron5. I just won a Mega Drive cartridge on eBay, so I'll be able to test for sure soon.

Re: Well the input lag of the Retron 5 really blows
In addition to Game Mode being on, make sure that ALL post-processing options for your TV are off. Game Mode doesn't necessarily turn these off on all TVs. Your TV might perform processing different for composite/component inputs than for HDMI. I know my TV has independent settings for each input, s...

Most GBA games tend to load very slow. Does your Mother 3 repro cart load particularly slower than any other GBA games?Lilith wrote:I just picked up a Mother 3 Reproduction cart, not only does it not recognize on the Retron 5 (but still plays), it loads VERY slow.

Here are the N64 labels I put together: http://i.imgur.com/OORWcSDl.png This image is a thumbnail. Click the image for a high-quality PNG file, which is meant to be printed on 8.5"x11" label paper (portrait) at 100% scale. These are based on the label designs of four_giants on Reddit. I pr...

Re: Custom Cartridge Top Labels (Super Famicom, N64, etc.)
I've been buying universal game cases and printing artwork for them. I got ten more on the way. That's awesome! I wish I could do that same for my collection, but unfortunately I don't have the space for those cases. Recently I've been taking all my games OUT of cases to fit them in a tighter space...

Custom Cartridge Top Labels (Super Famicom, SMS, N64, etc.)
So with the recent addition of IPS patching to the Retron5, my collection of Super Famicom carts has shot up to nearly 30 carts. Trying to keep these carts organized has been a bit of a hassle because you cannot stack/arrange the carts in any way the shows the game's title. My solution: labels to pu...

Re: SNES Controller Extensions
Thanks! I bought these, and they work great with the Retron5! I have no idea why my other extension cables don't work, but I'm glad it's not my system that's the problem.JDavis wrote:These are the cables I have

Re: Bahamut Lagoon - Issues?
Thanks! I just had a chance to try out the new patch last night, and this one works great with my copy of Bahamut Lagoon! No more scrambled text!

Bahamut Lagoon - Issues?
Is there a patch out there for Bahamut Lagoon that will work on the Retron5 without issue? I tried the one here on MediaFire , but it garbled the text for spell names and items. The naming screen also still included Japanese fonts for the approval text at the top of the screen. I tried the emu versi...
