Re: N64/Sega CD/32X/TGCD/PCE CD/FDS compatiblity
I believe that I got the Ancient Stone Tablets games and BS Zelda Third and Fourth quests to load on my Retro Freak. I'm pretty sure all Satellaview games should work. I've also loaded up the BS Super Mario 2 USA game on it. The weird thing is, Knuckles Chaotix shows up, but states you need a 32x to...

Pokemon Metal non-EXE
I've been looking into getting Pokemon Metal on my Shield Portable. I've been burning through tons of Pokemon hacks lately. However, all the files I can find that work for Metal are EXEs. Am I just out of luck and it doesn't have an actual ROM file/ips?
Same for Pokemon Uranium, ideally.

Re: Dragon Quest Monsters Caravan Heart
The IPS patch is here http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1252/
It may need to be fixed up by R9Delta, but you should give the "expect ROM header" option a try.

Re: LOOKING FOR tales of phantasia famicom translation
I think you're a bit mistaken, Tales of Phantasia is a Super Famicom game (JP SNES), not Famicom (JP NES)
But R9Delta made a patch a while ago here http://www.mediafire.com/download/ojvah ... ntasia.ips

Re: Nvidia Shield TV
Just out of curiosity, have you had any luck with Emulation Station on the Shield? Does it offer pretty much the same stuff? I'm wondering if it's less of a pain and is easier to deal with. I've been trying to install the Emulation Station APK, but I keep getting "app not installed". It's ...

Re: Nvidia Shield TV
I'll probably end up doing that whole User 2-5 binding thing once I actually configure my N64 controller, or a PS2/Saturn controller or something. It's one of those Mayflash N64/PS2/Saturn controller adapters. Is there an easy way to copy the needed Retro Arch files onto the internal? I really don't...

Re: Nvidia Shield TV
I've figured everything else out (PCE still don't show up, but they work when I load them), PS1 works, I haven't tried FDS, Sega CD...doesn't work, Lunar 1 and Vay crash Retro Arch. Do you have an N64 controller layout you use? Will Retro Arch detect USB controllers? I do have an N64>USB adapter tha...

Re: Nvidia Shield TV
Hmmmm...I set up the BIOS directory to a folder where I put the Sega CD, Saturn, FDS, and PCE CD BIOs, but it still doesn't seem to want to recognize the games, even when I rescan and update the database. Also, when I try to start the Saturn emulator you listed (Yaubuse standalone), I get "cann...

Re: Nvidia Shield TV
Hm....I tried to put them in the Android folder, the SCD/PCE folder, the base RetroArch folder (Android>RetroArch), and the files folder. Nothing worked.

Re: Nvidia Shield TV
I guess the Shield was still set to auto detect volume or something, I changed it to fixed output and the sound now works fine. I don't know if I got a remote with it that would have made it easier. Also, how do I load CD games on Retro Arch? I download the cores that support em (Sega CD/TGCD), but ...
