I got a copy of DBZ Hyper Dimension and it lags like crazy on my Retron 5. Anyone else have this issue? Just trying to see if it's my game or the Retron 5 that's having some problems

I'm looking for a translation patch for 46 Okunen Monogatari: Harukanaru Eden e (SFC) to the English version of Evo Search for Eden (SNES). I bought a Japanese copy because it was much cheaper but I can't read Japanese. Can anyone help me please? Thanks!
