Do famicom Multicarts work on the retron 5?

I was thinking of getting the Japanese carts for Breath of Fire 1&2. Is it possible to convert them to the US version?

So I sent my Retron 5 in for repair. And looking at the tracking number it arrived Friday of last week. I called customer support and they said they were shipping one out. Do they usually provide a tracking number or should I call again since I haven't received one?

One thing I've noticed with dealing with the retron 5 is that if your carts aren't super clean you'll have problems. I had a cv4 cart that wasn't recognized by the retron but would play perfectly fine in my snes. I opened it up cleaned with alcohol, white eraser, some Brando and a little more alcoho...

Thanks for the Romancing Saga. I actually just ordered boxed copies of 1-3 for like $15 total so that will come in handy. Collecting famicom games is kind of addicting
