Have you tried a different controller? Such as an OEM SNES controller? Even a Genesis or NES controller might work. I know they don't have the same button mappings but at least you may be able to jump and test it. The controller that comes with the Retron 5 really sucks. Love the console otherwise.

I use isopropyl alcohol and q-tips to clean my games. After I take the IPA to them I take a dry q-tip to, well, dry them off. After you do that I still recommend waiting about 15 minutes before playing. Some game boy advance games can take a little while to load though so don't read into that too mu...

Hi. Does anyone else have a copy of Streets of Rage 3 that works in their Retron 5? I'm running system softeware 0.3.0 and the new 2.5 update and the system won't even read the cart. It reads other carts just fine though. Unsure if this ever worked in my Retron because I just got the game yesterday....

So I see this come up infrequently but has anyone had any luck getting Phantasy Star 3 to work on the Retron 5? I got my copy from eBay yesterday and it wasn't even read by my console. Weird you're getting that. What firmware are you using? I've played Battletoads on my Retron 5 a few times and the game loaded fine. Almost beat the turbo tunnel too!
