It worked, thanks!
I was using that program, but I guess I was naming the output file incorrectly, as in I actually pointed it to a path in my PC instead of just the file name.

Converting Retro Freak .sav to .srm for RetroArch
I am trying to convert my Lufia II save from my Retro Freak to my RetroPie (Pi 3). The Pi will only read .srm files. I have tried to download the tool here and use it, but for some reason, it refuses to work, it doesn't do anything when I try to read it. Maybe because it's not technically Retron 5. ...

Re: READ! Star Fox 1 to Star Fox 2 (SNES Classic dump) Patch
Hmmm...It seems like when I try to patch it and load it up on my RetroPie, it just sticks at a black screen. Am I somehow patching it wrong? I'm just using lunar ips and applying the 1.2 patch to 1.2. Maybe I'll try another IPS program. But props to you, there goes the only reason to get an SNES cla...

Re: Copy save to SMS cart
I seem to remember trying Phantasy Star on my PWB on my Retron 5, only to be disappointed that it didn't carry over my saves and also couldn't save to the cart. At this point, I'd probably be better off finishing it on my Master System or starting over and abusing fast forward.

Re: Super Nintendo/Famicom Slot Issues
I haven't put a cart in my Retro Freak since I got it, I just play the games I've dumped to the SD card, and had zero problems. Given, I could see maybe using carts if you had over 500 games (which I hear is when it starts having issues)

Re: Issues with ROM formats?
If you're talking about zip files containing multiple rom versions, I always just pick the "normal" one, as in the one that doesn';t have any of those letters/etc. Genesis/MD file types are usually .md, not .gen on the Retro Freak, but .bin also recognizes. I don't know what you mean by .b...

Re: Issues with ROM formats?
Question: I'm running the latest firmware 2.2. It seems it won't see .sms games. Gamgear : .gg = OK SG-1000 : .sg = OK Mastersystem : .sms? When I rename them to .sg they sometimes seem to work. Not sure if it was actually a SMS or SG-1000 game maybe? Should be .sms, but try the generic .bin if you...
